This is a special solo concert
Not with the piano

Instead, he and his five string partners presented a unique trumpet concert to the audience.Performing symphonic works with chamber music thinking, which not only simplifies the symphonic concerto into a string quintet, but also introduces it into contemporary performances. The new trend of “from complexity to simplicity”, and broadened the long-standing restriction of solo concerts to mainly perform sonatas.

This is a serious exploration of art and form
In the name of Concerto, it is a special solo concert project. It features a concerto performance format in which a string quintet (string quartet or string orchestra) replaces the symphony orchestra and performs a concerto with a soloist. The lightweight organization allows solo concerts to break through the limitations of traditional repertoire, allowing solo concerts to not only perform conventional sonatas and sketches, but also popular concertos. Strive to return the solo concert repertoire to that of a century ago, with fewer "essay-style" sonatas and richer "entertainment-style" repertoire, so that classical music can be deeply loved by young people.
Centuries of symphonic evolution from simplicity to complexity
Throughout the development process of symphonic music, "from simplicity to complexity" is a general trend. In the palace orchestra of the Baroque period, each string section was basically played by a single person. In addition to the rare wind instruments and harpsichords, the total number of people was only about ten. This was already the largest orchestra in the world at that time. With the development of manufacturing technology, new wind instruments and percussion instruments continued to be added to the orchestra. These "new instruments" were highly expressive and loud. To match, the number of string members also continued to expand. Until the late Romantic period, the symphony orchestra was already a behemoth with more than a hundred people. The larger orchestra brought richer sound effects and provided endless new possibilities for the composer.
Using chamber music thinking to interpret symphonic works from complexity to simplicity
At the end of the 20th century, after centuries of "from simplicity to complexity", a new trend of "from complexity to simplicity" emerged in music performance. After getting used to the heavy sound characteristics of modern symphony orchestras, people suddenly became interested in the small symphony orchestras that were once popular in history. Coupled with the promotion of many conductors including Abbado, Harnoncourt, etc.,Using chamber music thinking to perform symphonic music has become a new trend in contemporary music performances。
Compared with large symphony orchestras, small orchestras have many advantages: clearer voice levels, richer musical expressions, and more flexible organizational arrangements. Because of this, these small ensembles began to become an indispensable force on the concert stage.
The most extreme simplification of an orchestra is the string quartet. It is no longer new on the Western stage for a string quartet or string quintet to serve as accompaniment to perform ballets or even operas. Many famous musical works have already had mature string quartet adaptations.
This is a new aesthetic experience
For a wide range of concert audiences, such a "special" solo concert that breaks through the scope of conventional sonatas and sketches has the grandeur of a concerto. At the same time, it can also feel the unique tranquility and intimacy of a chamber music concert, as well as a clearer musical level and logic. The audience can feel the performer's superb performance skills more closely, and has a high appreciation value.
